ACAC Gallery

Located behind the Hanmer Library this beautiful room provides space for artists

to show their work. No commission is charged by ACAC. All sales are the

ACAC Market

Run by Carol Fraser. Open every Saturday under the redwood trees in the Hanmer village.

Open from Labour Weekend through to Easter. Crafts, soaps, jewellery, local produce,

toys and clothing. Contact Carol to apply for a space and to check out our Stall criteria.

Arts on Tour New Zealand

Visiting artists come to Hanmer and entertain. Over recent years we have had

Stand-up comic: Michele A’Court, Lyttelton band: The Eastern, & Violinist:

Fiona Pears perform. Keep an eye out for notices about upcoming events.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ACAC Workshops:

We hold workshops throughout the year depending upon the needs within the

Amuri community. Last year we held a “Solar Print workshop at Amuri Area School,

as well as Upholstery and Wood restoration workshops.

ACAC Short Courses Application: Performance & Workshop Grants.

Amuri Community Arts Council (ACAC) welcomes your applications.

The ACAC meets on the second Monday of each month to consider these applications.

ACAC Annual Art Competition:

A new theme every year. Open to both children and adults. Great prizes. Information due out in Term
